The five groups for the 2026 CEV Champions League Main Phase were announced this morning following the draw held at the European Broadcasting Centre in Luxembourg. Trentino Itas will begin its fourteenth participation in the top continental club tournament, having already won it four times, in Pool A, which includes Turkish side Ziraat Bankkart Ankara (who faced them in the CEV Cup semifinals in March), French side Tours, and a team that qualified from the preliminary rounds (scheduled between October 21 and November 27).
The group stage consists of a total of six matches, divided into two groups, and will begin on December 10, 2025, and conclude on February 18, 2026. The top two teams from each group and the best third-place finisher will advance to the playoffs; The five second-place teams and the best third-place finisher will play the round of 16 with home-and-away matches (March 4 and 11), which will qualify three teams for the quarterfinals, where the top-placed teams from each pool automatically advance.
This, in detail, is Trentino Itas’s path in Pool A of the 2026 CEV Champions League Main Phase. The dates listed are indicative; for television reasons, matches may be played a day earlier or later (the official dates and times will be announced in a few days).
