Thirty-one teams, representing twenty-one different nations, will enter the draw for the 2026 edition of the CEV Champions League, which will be held on Tuesday 15 July at noon in Luxembourg.
The list of registered clubs was released on Monday by the European Confederation; among these, there is also the name of Trentino Volley, which will be among the three Italian representatives as the reigning National Champion. The yellow-blue club is already certain to be among the teams admitted directly to the group stage, which will start on 9 December and will once again be divided into five Pools of four teams each. The last two protagonists will instead be defined thanks to the preliminary rounds, which will begin on 21 October and end on 27 November.
The formula for the Playoffs has been confirmed compared to the previous edition: only the first-placed teams in each Pool will qualify directly for the quarter-finals, while all the second-placed teams and the best third-placed team from the five Pools will go to the round of 16.

Il cosiddetto “Drawing of Lots” dell’edizione 2026 di CEV Champions League si terrà a partire dalle ore 12 di martedì 15 luglio presso l’European Broadcasting Centre in Lussemburgo; qui la Confederazione Europea di Pallavolo effettuerà il sorteggio dei cinque gironi della Main Phase dell’edizione 2025.
Nell’urna saranno inserite venti formazioni: diciotto ammesse direttamente alla fase a gironi (fra cui Trentino Volley, che vi parteciperà con la denominazione “Trentino Itas”) e due qualificate dai turni preliminari (anche questi sorteggiati in tale occasione), che prenderanno il via già il 21 ottobre. La definizione dei cinque raggruppamenti verrà effettuata dividendo le venti squadre partecipanti in quattro diverse fasce; ogni girone comprenderà una formazione di tutte le quattro fasce, stilate in base al ranking CEV riferito ai risultati dell’edizioni 2022, 2023 e 2024 del torneo. Nella prima fascia figurano le cinque teste di serie; essendo la prima squadra italiana ammessa alla manifestazione, Trentino Volley farà parte della prima fascia in cui sono state inserite anche Civitanova, Lublin, Zawiercie e Berlino (formazioni quindi sicure di non affrontare i gialloblù). Nel sorteggio è previsto che nessun gruppo possa contenere due squadre della stessa nazione, a meno che non si tratti di una wild card; quindi Trento non potrà capitare nella stessa Pool di Perugia (inserita in seconda fascia).

Quarta fascia: Halkbank Ankara (Turchia), Asseco Resovia Rzeszow (Polonia), Montpellier HSC VB (Francia) e due vincitrici dei turni preliminari.
