On the eve of the qualifying round for the Under-22 European Championships, the Italian national team is preparing to take to the field in the evocative setting of the Palasport on Viale delle Province. Among the players chosen by coach Vincenzo Fanizza is Tommaso Barotto, the new opposite hitter for Cisterna Volley, who will thus have the opportunity to play the taraflex for the Italian national team, a position he will soon be able to use again later in the season with the Pontine team.
The final training sessions were held today for the Italian team, which will face England tomorrow at 8:30 pm in the national team’s opening match. Admission to all matches is free, with the first match between Ukraine and Denmark taking place tomorrow, July 11th, at 5:00 pm.
