On Thursday, August 21st, at 7:00 PM, the PalaGrotta will reopen its doors for the Yuasa Battery pre-season training camp, kicking off its historic second season in the SuperLega. And it will be much more than a simple reunion: it will be a new beginning, filled with anticipation, smiles, and racing heartbeats. No one has forgotten the echoes of last season, that roar of enthusiasm that from a small village in the Marche region shook the great Italian volleyball scene. But now it’s time to look ahead. The time of fairy tales has become reality. Grottazzolina is no longer a surprise: it’s a certainty, a beloved and respected team, capable of making an entire region dream. The holidays are over, now it’s time for serious work. Coach Massimiliano Ortenzi will have twelve athletes at his disposal, including key returning players and newcomers. Young Luca Pulita, a spiker from Falconara, has joined the group, recruited to strengthen the second team in Serie B. Only Bulgarians Tatarov and Petkov will be missing from the camp, as they are playing for their national teams ahead of the World Championships. And in the coming days, Iranian Golzadeh will arrive in Italy, ready to bring his enthusiasm and talent to the service of the Grotte cause.
