Zappoli from Domotek: “Happy to be here, tough season ahead. The fans? I hope there are even more than last year.”
Enrico Zappoli, a confirmed spiker for Domotek Volley, makes no secret of his excitement at returning to the Amaranth jersey, in an environment he feels deeply connected to.
The upcoming season, however, will not be a walk in the park. Zappoli predicts a fiery season, partly due to the high expectations created by the excellent previous year. “What kind of season do you expect? But a difficult one, because expectations are quite high, even considering what we did last year, so I think it’s a really tough season ahead.”
The debut, scheduled for the first match of the season, is scheduled for October 26th at Galatone.
And it’s already a tough test. “We’ll start with our first away game against Galatone, a team with good players. I saw a few of their games last year, and they have a great crowd, so it’ll be a good start.”
