.Jan Zimmermann will be a MINT Vero Volley Monza player for the 2025-2026 season. For the German setter born in ’93, who is reunited with his national teammate Erik Röhrs, it is a return to the Monza jersey, after the experience of the 2022-2023 season
Jan Zimmermann’s career began in the youth sector of Rottenburg, a club with which he made his Bundesliga debut in the 2010-11 championship. In the 2017-18 championship he flew to France, in Ligue A, wearing the colors of Stade Poitevin, while in the following championship he was back in his homeland, this time with Charlottenburg. In March 2019 he left the German club to play in Belgium with Maaseik, in Liga A, where he finished the year, winning the championship, and remained in the following one. In the 2020-21 season he arrived in Italy, in the SuperLega with Sir Safety Perugia, winning the Italian Supercup, and in the 2021-2022 season in Padua. After starting the 2022-2023 championship with the Polish team BBTS Bielsko-Biala, he moved after 4 games to Vero Volley Monza to replace the injured Fernando Kreling. In the 2023-24 championship he arrived in Turkey, playing in the Efeler Ligi with Galatasaray, but in the following season he was back in Italy, this time at Gioiella Prisma Taranto, in the Superleague. In the 2025-26 season he returned to Monza
Jan Zimmermann (MINT Vero Volley Monza): “I’m very happy to return to Monza, where I had a great time three seasons ago. I’m really happy to return to an environment where I already know almost everyone. Now I’m training with the national team, but I’m already excited for September and I can’t wait to wear the Monza jersey again to try to have the best season possible”.
