Atlantide Pallavolo Brescia has expanded its coaching staff with the addition of Alice Zanola, the new Scoutman and Match Analyst for the first team for the 2026/2027 season.
Born in Brescia on June 6, 1987, Zanola began her career in technical and statistical analysis in 2021 with Torbole Volley, where she continues to work and has guided her team through its growth from Serie C to Serie B1. Over the years, she has also collaborated with Cazzago and Montichiari, both men’s Serie B teams, consolidating her skills in performance analysis and match data collection.
In modern volleyball, the role of Scoutman and Match Analyst is increasingly strategic. Data analysis is now a fundamental tool to support the coaching staff: statistical information allows them to evaluate their team’s performance, study their opponents, identify playing trends, and plan the best tactical strategies. A meticulous work that, through numbers, videos, and detailed reports, contributes concretely to the preparation of each individual match.
A quiet and often out-of-the-way job, yet increasingly crucial to achieving high-level results.
