Domotek Volley has received an important recognition. The Scientific Committee of the 27th edition of the Anassilaos “San Giorgio” Award has concluded its work, deciding to award the award for sporting merit to the Amaranth club. The historic and distinguished association extends its warmest congratulations for the brilliant season thus far, which has seen the club win two national trophies (the Del Monte Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana). The awards ceremony, held in the Sala Federica Monteleone of the Calabria Regional Council, awarded the Reggio Calabria club the Anassilaos San Giorgio “Don Antonio Santoro” Award. National successes and sporting and social growth are the foundation of this important recognition.
Testifying to the special bond between Domotek and the award, in the previous edition, Technical Director Cesare Pellegrino, a legend of Reggio and national volleyball, was honored. This momentous award coincides with the city’s highest honor, the “San Giorgio D’Oro,” received a few hours ago by the club’s founder and coach, Antonio Polimeni. This recognition honors the entire Domotek Volley family and encourages them to continue their work with even greater passion and dedication.
Domotek Volley director Valeria Pellegrino enthusiastically commented on this prestigious achievement: “We have a wonderful opportunity that continues to be celebrated. The Anassilaos Award once again takes on the colors of amaranth, the colors of volleyball, and this wonderful history. It’s not just a sporting recognition, but a testament to what a fantastic championship we’ve had, a project that involves athletes, the club, the entire staff, and our coach, Polimeni. Through professionalism and commitment, we wanted to demonstrate that the city of Reggio Calabria can excel at the national level.”
