Tomorrow, at 7:00 PM, for the 17th round of the Credem Banca A2 championship, the fourth of the second half of the season, Consar hosts Virtus Aversa: it’s a match between the two teams tied for third place with 32 points, two points behind second-place Abba Pineto. The Campania team caught up with Consar in the last round, with a tie-break defeat of Goi and his teammates in Taranto and a win for the white-and-blues against Fano. “This is an important week for us,” observes Consar coach Antonio Valentini, “because we’re facing a direct clash to maintain our championship podium finish and because on Wednesday we face the Coppa Italia semifinal in Pineto: two high-level matches that give us enthusiasm, energy, and strong motivation. But in the meantime, we’re focused on Aversa.”
