A profound bond exists between faith, sport, and the pride of an entire community. In recent days, the historic Congregation of Sant’Antonio di Padova of the Municipality of Campo Calabro paid special tribute to Domotek Volley Reggio Calabria for their extraordinary season, which led the Amaranth team to Serie A2 title and a record-breaking treble. Accepting the award during a meaningful ceremony were not just members of the club, but the team’s beating heart: Coach Antonio Polimeni, recently awarded the prize for best coach in Serie A3 (he will be collecting the Costa Anderlini award at the Volley Mercato in Bologna in the coming hours), and captain Domenico Laganà, a true pride of the municipality of Campo Calabro. The Amaranth network extends special thanks to the Congregation, to Prior Santo Nostro, Rocco Messineo, and Giovanni Richichi, key figures who made this fusion of spiritual and sporting values possible. The plaque, presented with affection, reads: “Recognition to Domotek Volley Reggio Calabria for its historic promotion to Serie A2, an achievement that has made the entire community proud. With gratitude for having set an example of commitment, sacrifice, and team spirit, authentic values shared by sport, faith, and the life of our communities.”
