Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza is pleased to announce the contract extension of Francesco Comparoni, who will wear the red and white jersey until June 30, 2028.
The extension of the player’s contract with Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza was signed with satisfaction by both parties. In the recently concluded season, Francesco Comparoni made 41 appearances in the Regular Season, Italian Cup, Scudetto Playoffs, and CEV Volleyball Cup, playing 123 sets and scoring 185 points, including 17 aces and 45 blocks.
The middle blocker, born in 2001, will continue his career with the Piacenza team, confirming his status as an integral part of the technical and sporting project of President Elisabetta Curti’s club.
Having arrived in Piacenza last summer, Francesco Comparoni has distinguished himself for his reliability, constant growth, and great dedication to his work, earning the trust of the coaching staff and the club day after day.

Born in Parma, Francesco Comparoni, 204 centimeters tall, was the best middle blocker at the 2022 European Under-22 Championship. He won the bronze medal at the Universiade in Germany with the Italian national team. He was named to the 30-man squad for the VNL by Italy coach Ferdinando De Giorgi.
