Allianz Milano continues to focus on its youth development and has confirmed libero Jacopo Corbetta for the 2026/2027 season. Born in 2007 in Brivio, the Lecco-born player represents one of the most exciting developments between Allianz Diavoli Powervolley and the first team. After joining the SuperLega roster in December of last year following the departure of Matteo Staforini, Corbetta has carved out a niche for himself in the top division, making appearances on the second line as libero and additional spiker-receiver, and taking a starring role in winning the Challenge Cup. Raised in Cisanese before moving to Brugherio, the young libero comes from a family where volleyball is a true tradition: his grandparents and parents Claudio and Manuela played the sport at an amateur level, and his brothers Elia and Nicolò also play at the net. For Jacopo, the last few months, including his time with the Powervolley youth teams and the national finals, have been a time of constant growth, fueled by the daily work under the guidance of the Allianz Milano family. Here’s what the libero has to say about his confirmation to the first team.
