After the historic run that led the Amaranto club to a treble and the long-awaited promotion to Serie A2, the team is preparing to make the jump to the next level with quality and promising additions. Among these is young setter Marco Favretto, who arrived on the Strait of Messina with the right energy for this new adventure.
How did this call from the Amaranto world come about? Did you expect it? “Absolutely not. It was a coincidence, but I must say that from the first call, it convinced me immediately. I’m very happy to join this team.”

“Yes, yes, in fact, what convinced me most was the fairytale nature of this club, which in a short time has managed to achieve incredible results with the treble and promotion to Serie A2.”
Do you already know anyone on the roster? “Absolutely. The first setter is Saitta, a very well-known player. It’s an honor for me to be his partner. I also know the new spiker, Riccardo Iervolino.”
