Filip Gavenda is the new opposite hitter for Prisma La Cascina Taranto Volley
Prisma La Cascina Taranto Volley announces the agreement with Filip Gavenda, a Slovakian opposite hitter born in 1996, who officially joins the Rossoblu roster.
A 202 cm athlete, Gavenda brings offensive power, physicality, and significant international experience to Taranto. Having grown up playing volleyball in Slovakia, over the course of his career he has gained significant experience in several European leagues, including Italy, Germany, and Spain, consistently competing at the highest levels.
In Italy, he played for Top Volley Latina and Revivre Milano, experiencing the top-flight championship firsthand and further developing his technical and mental strength. Abroad, he has played for, among others, Netzhoppers Königs Wusterhausen in the German Bundesliga, the strong Roeselare in Belgium, and the Spanish Superliga, proving himself as a reliable and consistent opposite hitter.
