Polish team Jastrzebski Wegiel will be Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza’s next opponent in the CEV Volleyball Cup Playoff Round. The first leg will be played in Poland on Wednesday, February 11th or Thursday, February 12th, with the return match at the PalabancaSport on February 18th.
The Poles defeated Finnish team Akaa Volley in the Round of 16, also winning the return match in Poland 3-0 (25-22, 25-16, 25-21). The Poles had won the first leg in Finland 3-1 (25-16, 25-22, 26-24, 25-18).
The red and whites secured their spot in the Playoff Round by defeating Spanish team Rio Duero Soria 3-1 in both the first and second legs played last Wednesday at the PalabancaSport.
