A new and important collaboration has begun between the Lega Pallavolo Maschile Serie A (Men’s Volleyball League) and the Association of Family Members and Road Victims (AFVS), supported by Credem (Title Sponsor of the Serie A Men’s Volleyball Championships). The partnership has one goal: to promote a culture of road safety among the Italian population.
The initiative, titled “Road Safety is a Team Game,” will leverage the powerful communication potential of the three organizations to spread a shared message of responsible driving and attention, actively involving clubs and sports arenas for a powerful and consistent impact throughout the season.
The initiative draws on a strong parallel between sport and road safety, where everyone’s commitment is essential in both contexts. On the road, the challenge is against “invisible adversaries” such as alcohol consumption, drug use, and cell phone use while driving. To win this game, true teamwork is needed, where training is education, the rules are the Highway Code, and the team is the entire community, including institutions, families, associations, and citizens.
