MAI MOLAR is the first Italian docu-reality dedicated to volleyball. Calling it simply a TV series would be an understatement: it’s an act of love for the world of sport, for those who believe that giving up is never an option. The five-episode series is an editorial product that brings to the screen the values that make volleyball an extraordinary training ground for life, and it does so through the story of the rebirth of the Super League team “Rana Verona” – the underdog that no one would have bet on but which, match after match, is proving its worth, both on and off the court.
Much more than a sports story, the first season of MAI MOLAR is an authentic and emotional journey, a tale of passion, courage, and belonging that transforms volleyball into a powerful metaphor for living together and never giving up.
The series, conceived by title sponsor Rana with the aim of spreading the positive values of this exciting team sport, retraces the most challenging moments in the recent history of Verona volleyball, which in 2021 was at risk of disappearing, partly due to the restrictions imposed by Covid. From that dark period, the greatest challenge arose: starting over.
