The return of setter Manuel Coscione is a significant one, both for Cuneo, his hometown, which raised him and launched him into the world of volleyball, and for the director himself. After eight consecutive seasons in Serie A2 and one in the French Ligue A, he will return to the Italian SuperLega as a leading figure in the sport, boasting 18 years of experience (2000-2018) in Italy’s top division.
Regarding Manuel’s signing, Sporting Director Paolo Brugiafreddo said: “The club, in my opinion, has made a wise choice in hiring Manuel. He is the right, balanced prospect to provide adequate support to Argilagos for his growth and, at the same time, to the team if needed. We were fortunate enough to see him in action for two weeks during this summer training session, where he demonstrated his impeccable form, both technically and physically. We are starting a relationship with him that will last even longer, and we are delighted about it.”
“I’ve come back to bring the experience, clarity, and competitive spirit needed to defend this category. I took my first steps here, and for me, returning to this jersey and this category means closing a loop that had been left open.” These were Coscione’s first words as a white-and-blue, “again.”
