Volley Savigliano is pleased to announce its fifth newcomer for the 2026/27 Serie A3 Credem Banca season.
Young spiker Gabriel Marini Da Costa will wear the Monge-Gerbaudo first team jersey.
A native of Rome, Gabriel, a 2006-born player, stands 200 cm tall and spent his first season in Serie A3 with Belluno Volley last season. It was a memorable start, highlighted by promotion to Serie A2, to which Marini Da Costa contributed with 15 groundballs, nine of which against Savigliano, in a superb performance on the final day of the regular season. He also scored five in the playoff quarterfinals against Mantova, where he played a key role in advancing the Venetian team to the next round. Previously, he had worn the jersey of Marino Pallavolo, in Lazio, also achieving great satisfaction in beach volleyball, even winning the Italian Under 20 title.
