The latest addition to the Delta Volley Porto Viro roster for the 2026/2027 Credem Banca Serie A2 championship is the young and familiar face of Jacopo Milan. The 195-centimeter-tall middle blocker, born in 2005, will continue his career with the Polesine club, where he developed his volleyball skills until becoming a permanent fixture in the first team.
Born in Rovigo, Milan began playing for Ellepi San Giusto before joining Delta Volley in the 2017/2018 season. Since then, he has worn the black and fuchsia jersey in all youth categories, from Under 14 to Under 19, through to his experiences in Serie D and his first call-ups to Credem Banca Serie A2, which came as early as the 2022/2023 championship.
Last season was the season of his big breakthrough. A regular member of the first team, Milan experienced the daily grind of Serie A2 while continuing to contribute to Serie D. The most significant moment came in front of their home crowd, in the 3-0 victory against Prata di Pordenone: a special evening, in the “classic” style, against the league leaders who later promoted to the SuperLega, in which Milan celebrated their official debut in Serie A2.
