The 2026/27 SuperLega schedule has been revealed
Cuneo will host Perugia, the “Champions of Everything,” on the first day of the SuperLega season.
The schedules for the 2026/2027 season were announced this afternoon, during the Gala that traditionally closes the three-day Volleyball Market in Bologna, organized by the Lega Pallavolo Serie A.
The asymmetric schedule has been confirmed, meaning the home and away matches don’t follow the same schedule, starting on October 18th and concluding on February 28th.
Cuneo will begin its second SuperLega season at home against the “Champions of Everything” Perugia. Cuneo Volley will play four midweek matches (Wednesdays): November 4th at home against Monza, December 2nd at home against Modena, January 13th at home against Trento, and February 24th at home against Piacenza.
On All Saints’ Day (November 1), Cuneo will host Civitanova, then two days after the Immacolata (December 6), the white-and-blues will play at home against Piacenza, while on Boxing Day (Saturday, December 26), the Cuneo stadium will host the match against Modena.
Regarding the asymmetrical schedule and the scheduling in general, Sporting Director Paolo Brugiafreddo had this to say: “It’s clearly a complicated start. Playing at home against the Champions of all time says a lot about how we can start. Then we’ll have the second match at home against Lube, who “mistreated” us twice last year, interspersed with the away game in Milan, where they weren’t a land of conquests last season. The start is complicated, then perhaps we’ll start to feel less heavy, and then, aside from five games from mid-to-late December where we’ll have very tough opponents, we’ll no longer have the prohibitive number of matches that reached nine last year.” I believe that in any case we will have to enter into the mindset of a very complicated championship because all the rosters are decidedly interesting, all the teams must be respected, they all must be taken for what they are in reality and approached with both humility and ambition.”
