ABBA Pineto wins the Del Monte® Coppa Italia Serie A2. The blue and white club wrote a historic page for the city of Pineto and for Abruzzo sports, winning the coveted Serie B trophy for the first time at Pala Prata. Pineto defeated Tinet Prata of Pordenone 3-1 (22-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-23) away on the Friulians’ home field. The victory was cheered on by over 200 fans who flocked from Abruzzo, further enhancing the magical feat that further confirms the extraordinary season of Simone Di Tommaso’s team.
