Twenty points, six break points, a block, and the constant feeling of being able to change the momentum of every rally. Francesco Corrado was one of the absolute stars of the big match held at the VHV Arena against Conad Reggio Emilia. But his stellar performance wasn’t enough for Belluno Volley to defeat the league leaders.
PREDICTABLE – The Rhinos thus suffered their fourth defeat in the Serie A3 Credem Banca championship, the second at home, following the one suffered in mid-December against Sarlux Sarroch: “I can’t deny that I’m disappointed,” Corrado admits. “I was hoping for a different result. Reggio Emilia’s merits are undeniable, but we could have done better, especially in the first set. The Emilians attacked the match right away on serve, while we struggled on reception. As a result, our game was predictable: we lacked rhythm.”
