Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza, having completed its marathon match against Perugia on the twentieth day of the championship, returns to Europe and plays, after a week of travel, at the PalabancaSport. Tomorrow, Wednesday, February 18th, at 8:30 pm, they will take to the court for the return match of the CEV Volleyball Cup Playoff Round against the Polish team JSW Jastrzebski Wegiel. The referees will be Serbian Darko Savic, returning to Piacenza after a stint there in 2022, and Frenchman Sebastien Jacob.
At stake is a qualification for the quarterfinals of the CEV Volleyball Cup, the second-largest annual European club competition: after beating Jastrzebski Wegiel 3-1 (23-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-13 for the red and whites) in the first leg played a week ago in Poland, Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza will only need to win two sets to secure their place in the next round of the competition.
