After the disappointment of Game 1, the Mussi return to their home field to attempt a second assault against their Modena opponent. After defeating Silvolley in both regular-season matches by 3-1, Stadium Mirandola secured their first playout match with a comfortable 3-0 home win and heads to Trebaseleghe with the wind in their sails.

Coach Donadi’s players showed more than a little stiffness on the court, perhaps the result of a high level of tension stemming from the responsibility of the task at hand.

A radically different approach will be needed to undermine the opponents’ confidence while simultaneously creating and strengthening their own.

Head Coach Donadi told us: “In Game 1, we weren’t able to show our full potential. For many of our players, this is their first season in Serie A3, and facing the playoffs, especially psychologically, isn’t easy. We need to free ourselves from tension, reset, and return to the field with greater clarity to try to extend the series. We expect a packed arena on Sunday, with the support of our fans, ready to fight alongside us.”

The warmth of the Trebaseleghe fans has never been in doubt, despite the many disappointments they’ve suffered this season.

We’re confident that on Sunday the 29th at 6:00 PM, there will be a large influx of fans to the arena to cheer on Musso Ettore’s players.

Is the road uphill? Of course, there’s no denying it. Will SAV Trebaseleghe throw in the towel? Of course not! To quote the late John Belushi in his role as John Bluto Blutarsky: “When the going gets tough, the tough get going!”
