Conad Reggio Emilia – Domotek Reggio Calabria 3-0 (25-22, 28-26, 25-20)
After a one-season stint in Serie A3 Credem Banca, Conad Reggio Emilia returns to Serie A2 Credem Banca through the front door. A 3-0 victory against Domotek Reggio Calabria in the fifth round of the Promotion Playoff proved decisive. A series in which home-field advantage was always respected. The Emilians benefited from this, winning the White Group at the end of the Regular Season and holding a higher ranking than the Calabrians, who finished first in the Blue Group. Strengthened by the opportunity to play the most important match on their home court, Conad gritted its teeth in a hard-fought second set and secured the qualification for the promotion thanks to increased service pressure and excellent performances by Chevalier (18 goals) and Mian (15). Among the visiting team, Lazzaretto, top scorer with 19 points, and Laganà (12) stood out, aggressively blocking. Reggio Emilia celebrated in front of their fans, while Reggio Calabria will try to get its second chance in the Serie A3 Credem Banca Playoffs, starting with the semifinal against Negrini CTE Acqui Terme.
The match between the two key players in the 2025/26 Serie A3 Credem Banca season is not yet over. The seventh match of the season is on the agenda, another face-off at the PalaBigi for a trophy. On Sunday, April 19, 2016, at 5:00 PM, Conad will host Domotek for the one-off Del Monte® Supercoppa Serie A3 Final.

Euphoria on the field and in the stands for the well-deserved celebration dedicated to Conad Reggio Emilia. Maurizio Giglioli, Deputy Director of Credem Banca’s Central Management, presented Rocco Barone, captain of Conad Reggio Emilia, with the commemorative plaque for Credem Banca’s promotion to Serie A2. The medals were distributed to the athletes by Fabio Fistetto, CEO of the Lega Pallavolo Serie A, and Elio Sità, Vice President of the Italian Volleyball Federation. An equally captivating finale, with all the players teary-eyed from the many emotions of an endless series.
