Even on Epiphany, Rinascita Volley Lagonegro continued its march toward Sunday’s eagerly awaited big match—the first matchday of the second half of the Serie A2 Credem Banca season—against league leaders Tinet Prata di Pordenone at the Palasport di Villa d’Agri.
It was an intense week of work, punctuated by heavy loads and intense concentration, with the goal of arriving at the match in the best possible condition, both physically and mentally.
The coaching staff, led by coach Waldo Kantor, has planned a precise and detailed schedule: daily sessions, with weight room work in the morning and technical and tactical ball training in the afternoon. The only concession to recovery was scheduled for Monday morning, the day after the away match in Fano, in addition to the scheduled rest periods on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. For the rest, every afternoon is dedicated to studying game situations, paying attention to detail, and tactically preparing for the match. A video session is also scheduled to analyze specific aspects of both your own and your opponent’s game.
