Following the announcement of dates and formats for the 2026/27 SuperLega Credem Banca, attention now shifts to the Serie A2 Credem Banca, which will feature a major new development next season.

The season will kick off with the 2026/27 Del Monte® Supercoppa Serie A2, featuring the teams that achieved the best results last season—with the exception of the squad promoted to the SuperLega, Tinet Prata di Pordenone. On Sunday, October 11, Abba Pineto (who finished first in last season’s Regular Season and won the Del Monte® Coppa Italia A2) will face Consoli Sferc Brescia (who finished second in the regular season last year).

The format introduced last season for the Del Monte® Coppa Italia A2 is confirmed: the tournament will take place at the end of the first half of the season (the *girone di andata*) rather than at the end of the year. The top eight teams in the standings at the halfway mark will qualify, and the competition will revert to a format featuring Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and a Final, all played as single-match ties.

2026/27 Serie A2 Credem Banca format, Play-Off dates, and events
The bottom two teams in the standings at the end of the Regular Season will be relegated, while—as was the case last year—eight teams will participate in the Serie A2 Play-Offs following the regular season. The Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and Final will be played as best-of-three series. A spot in the 2027/28 SuperLega Credem Banca will be at stake.
