The city of Perugia and the Umbria Region are on top of the world, thanks to the ever-increasing achievements of Sir! Four trophies in one season, two as Sir Susa Scai Perugia and two as Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia, four trophies that are a source of pride for the entire city and the entire region!

And this morning, the four trophies ascended to the heart of the acropolis, to be celebrated by the highest institutional officials. A delegation from the Block Devils, with the Juventus technical and management staff, departed aboard the MiniMetrò from Pian di Massiano for the historic center, for the two scheduled institutional visits.

The first stop was at Palazzo dei Priori, the seat of the city council. Perugia’s mayor, Vittoria Ferdinandi, and sports councilor, Pierluigi Vossi, welcomed Juventus Club President Gino Sirci, who, along with the rest of the group, was received in the Sala Rossa.

The President retraced the highlights of a season to remember, which began in incredible fashion even before the championship began, with a promotional tour in Japan and two matches at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo. The sold-out stadium, with a total of 28,000 spectators, hosted the Block Devils on both days, playing against the Suntory Sunbirds of Osaka, winning both matches in the World Challenge Series.

And the championship hadn’t even begun yet!

The season began with great success; Perugia immediately made its mark in the Superleague with its first consecutive regular-season win streak. Then came the Club World Cup in December, and the Block Devils were also protagonists there, winning their first trophy of the season. The Super Cup arrived on March 1st, and the Scudetto was won on May 6th, on home soil, completing the playoff final series against Lube in just three games. A remarkable, consistent, and consistent journey for the boys led by coach Angelo Lorenzetti, who completed the work in the Final Four in Turin, winning their second consecutive Champions League!
