Twenty-five points, eighth place, which qualifies for the Scudetto Playoffs, a wealth of young players on the court, and a captain, Thomas Beretta, who is the SuperLega’s top blocker. At the end of the Regular Season, it’s time for Vero Volley Monza to take stock of the season, and the numbers are more than positive. In the twenty-two games played, important results were achieved, allowing them to also play in the quarterfinals of the Del Monte Coppa Italia. The team has demonstrated remarkable potential, evidenced by victories such as those against Cucine Lube Civitanova in the first leg and Valsa Group Modena on January 18th.

A team led on the court by captain Beretta, a veteran and leader of the group. It’s a season to remember for the 35-year-old, 205-centimeter-tall middle blocker. Once again, the numbers speak for themselves: Beretta leads the SuperLega rankings for blocks scored this year (44 in 77 sets played). Overall, however, the entire team has a very high-quality blocking fundamental: Vero Volley, in fact, is first in the league for blocks completed (193, with an average of 2.41 per set). Also noteworthy is the team’s perfect receptions: the Brianza team is in fourth place in the ranking (332), even third if we take into account the number of sets played (4.15 per set).
