While we await Cucine Lube Civitanova’s upcoming adventure in the Del Monte® Super Cup, scheduled for Saturday, February 28th and Sunday, March 1st at the PalaTrieste, here’s an overview of the red and white giants’ participation in the tournament and their results.
The semifinal on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. against Rana Verona will mark the Cucine Lube’s seventeenth Super Cup appearance. The red and white club has won the trophy four times (2006, 2008, 2012, and 2014).
Lube’s history in the Italian Super Cup
Cucine Lube’s first appearance in the trophy contest dates back to 2001, when the team then coached by Roberto Masciarelli was defeated 3-0 by Sisley Treviso in Agrigento.
