The face of Rinascita Lagonegro is changing, but the approach remains the same. Following a transfer window that brought a major roster overhaul, the red-and-white club has opted for continuity within its coaching staff, retaining the individuals who helped lay the foundations last season.
After head coach Waldo Kantor—who renewed his commitment to Rinascita on Easter Sunday—Dino Viggiano will also continue his journey at Lagonegro as Assistant Coach. This marks the second consecutive season alongside the Argentine head coach and the fourth overall for the coach from Basilicata with the red-and-whites; the decision underscores the club’s desire to preserve expertise, methodology, and technical identity within a significantly revamped squad.
Viggiano first joined the Rinascita staff in the summer of 2021, when he was appointed as assistant to Mario Barbiero. Retained for the following season, he served on the coaching staff during the 2021/22 and 2022/23 campaigns—both played in Serie A2—before returning in the summer of 2025 to work alongside Coach Kantor.
