“We’ve been talking among ourselves these days. We’re convinced that, even though Perugia played very well, the result of Game 1 was too harsh. We stayed close to the game in all the sets and in the third we should have capitalized on the discrete advantage in our favor. At PalaBarton Energy it’s not enough to express yourself well or give your all, you have to be perfect to prevail. The details make the difference and influence the result even if the individual sets are hard-fought. I had the feeling that I could play on equal terms in all the sets, but then the episodes and the plays rewarded Perugia. Now we absolutely want to redeem ourselves in Game 2 because it would be essential to earn, at the very least, another home challenge, that is, Game 4.
