While waiting to take part with Italy in the Cavalese training camp, scheduled to start on Saturday, Giovanni Gargiulo is enjoying the few days of relaxation. The center of the Cucine Lube Civitanova is one of the brightest notes of the Italian national team in the VNL, but he keeps his feet on the ground and does not miss the opportunity to show his gratitude towards the kitchen staff, underlining the value of perseverance and hard work to achieve important goals and acquire the right mentality.
How has your life changed since arriving at Lube?
Giovanni Gargiulo: “I have had so many great satisfactions, I must always say thank you to Lube that gave me an important stage. There was a lot of work behind it on my part with the support of the red and white staff and the support of the kitchen management. I had the opportunity to grow to the point of demonstrating on the field that I could reach the National team and deserve a call. Now that I have benefited from these rewards, it will be essential to continue to always give my all!”.
In what do you think you have improved after the first year at Lube?
“Frankly, I think I have improved from all points of view! I believe that in general, athletes add another piece to their path every year. In my case, I am convinced that I have grown in all aspects!”.
