Born in 2005, a Paduan born and bred in the youth academy of the Kioene Pallavolo Padova, Francesco Bergamasco will join the Juventus first team roster for the 2025-26 SuperLega season.

A 193 cm spiker, Bergamasco represents a concrete example of Pallavolo Padova’s commitment to developing its youth sector. His arrival in the SuperLega is the result of a journey built with perseverance and dedication within the Juventus youth academy.

Francesco is currently playing in Cisterna di Latina, having been called up to the Italian Under-21 National Team for the training camp and the 2026 European Championship Qualifying Tournament.

These are his first words as a Sonepar Padova athlete: “It’s incredibly exciting and a great honor to be able to experience this new adventure on the Sonepar Padova roster. I hope it will be a stimulating and enriching experience, allowing me to grow and improve as an athlete. I can’t wait to get involved and face this new challenge with full commitment, seizing every opportunity to give my best.”

“Up until now, my journey with Pallavolo Padova has been one of hard work and sacrifice, both on my part and on the part of the club, which has always supported me and put me in the ideal conditions to grow,” Francesco added.
