Enrico Pilotto, a 27-year-old middle blocker from Padua, is the new middle blocker for Plus Volleyball Sabaudia. The 198-centimeter-tall player, originally from Camposampiero, will be available to coach Stefano Beltrame for the upcoming season, which the Pontine club will play in Serie A3. Pilotto joins the confirmed Samuel Onwuelo and Andrea Rondoni, as well as the newly announced Rocco Panciocco and Gabriele Mariani, strengthening a team that is revealing itself to fans week after week. Pilotto has played a total of seven seasons in Serie A, between Serie A2 and Serie A3, scoring 759 points to date (524 attacking, 47 serving, and 188 blocking).
“My expectations are high because, knowing the names of the players, I know we can do very well and try to make the playoffs because we’ve built an excellent team,” assures Enrico Pilotto. “We need to play as well as possible and unite, even outside the gym, because that’s how a team is built and needs to be built with great unity. On a personal level, I consider myself very calm; I try to keep the team united and try to put a smile on their faces when needed. I consider myself a player who also works hard for the locker room.”
