The first new arrivals for Avimec Modica, which in the past few hours has completed the coaching staff for the challenging Serie A3 championship.
After the confirmation of coaches Enzo Distefano and Manuel Benassi, athletic trainer Corrado Randazzo, and team manager Alessandra Ruta, Claudio Pagano has joined the team as scout.
Claudio Pagano, who last year worked on the coaching staff of EnergyTime Campobasso, has added a key figure to Avimec Modica’s coaching staff, enabling him to better understand both their own game and that of their opponents.
“Returning to Sicily,” Claudio Pagano explains, “wasn’t just a professional choice, but also a response to something I felt inside. As a Sicilian who has been away from his homeland for many years, the opportunity to return home, bringing with me everything I’ve built professionally, is difficult to explain in words. “Avimec Modica,” he emphasizes, “is the only Serie A volleyball club in Sicily, and joining this project means representing an entire region on the national volleyball scene; it’s a source of pride for me. I thank coach Enzo Distefano and the entire club for their trust in me. The discussion with the coach,” he continues, “was immediately constructive: a top-notch roster, ambitious goals, and a vision of continuous growth were crucial to my choice, because all of this fits perfectly with my way of working. I pay close attention to data analysis, videos, and every tactical detail. My commitment will be to provide the staff with precise and timely support, both to optimize the team’s performance and to best prepare for each individual match. I’m looking forward to getting to know Modica – concludes the new scout of Avimec Modica – the players and all the people who are part of this club”.
