Sviluppo Sud Catania is pleased to announce the arrival of spiker Jan Feri, a talented young player born in 2004 who will strengthen the Catania roster for the 2025/26 Serie A2 championship.
With enthusiasm and determination, Feri greeted his new fans: “I’m very excited to start this new season and this new adventure with Catania. I think it will be a great season, not only individually, but for the entire team. I hope to give my best: for my teammates, for the club, and for the entire staff. I chose Sviluppo Sud because I was very intrigued by this new project, this union between two clubs like Palmi and Catania, both with great volleyball traditions. There’s commitment, there’s determination, and this has motivated me greatly. It’s a new challenge, and I can’t wait to give it my all and achieve great results together.”
Born in Gorizia on February 1, 2004, Jan Feri is a 194 cm spiker who, from a very young age, demonstrated outstanding technical and character qualities. After developing his volleyball skills in the Pradamano youth system, where he played two seasons in Serie B, Feri made the leap to Serie A2 with Consar Ravenna, where he played for two seasons (2023/24 and 2024/25), establishing himself as one of the most promising young players in the national scene.
