Lega Pallavolo Serie A and Volleyball World announce a historic renewal of their partnership with SuperLega Credem Banca, thanks to the signing of a ten-year agreement valid for both Italy and international markets, which will remain in effect until the 2034/35 season.

This renewal marks a strategic milestone in volleyball’s evolution, with the shared goal of expanding the global audience, strengthening the connection with fans, and offering an increasingly engaging, accessible, and contemporary product. At the heart of the agreement, in addition to the management of media and betting rights, is a joint branding and marketing strategy aimed at positioning a premium product, developing original content, and engaging with the widest possible fan base, maximizing the spectacle of the SuperLega, its clubs, and its players.

Furthermore, all matches will continue to be broadcast live and on-demand on VBTV, Volleyball World’s official OTT platform, which confirms its position as a point of reference for fans thanks to its comprehensive coverage of the season and the most important international competitions.

The agreement consolidates a collaboration that has significantly contributed to strengthening the international visibility of the SuperLega, now recognized as one of the most spectacular and followed championships in the world. At a time of extraordinary popularity for Italian men’s volleyball, the agreement offers solid prospects for growth and long-term planning.

Massimo Righi – President of Lega Pallavolo Serie A
“The renewal of our partnership with Volleyball World is a source of great pride for us. We were the first non-football league in the world to sign an agreement of this nature with an international federation, thanks to our agreement with Volleyball World; a first that confirms the credibility and international vision of our movement. This agreement consolidates a shared commercial expansion strategy with those who are currently promoting volleyball and the Credem Banca SuperLega worldwide. This approach is perfectly in line with another historic step for our League: the Del Monte® Supercoppa 2025 will be played in Saudi Arabia, and will be the first official Italian team sports event to be played abroad, excluding football. Both parties share the goal of developing the SuperLega and enhancing its value, particularly video and betting rights, aware of the great value they already represent and, at the same time, of the vast potential still to be realized. Together, we are convinced that we can achieve truly significant goals. Finally, I would like to emphasize the long-term The agreement extends for ten years, running through the 2034/35 season. This very long-term commitment demonstrates the strategic importance of this alliance and the shared desire to grow Italian volleyball internationally.

Guido Betti – Chief Business Officer Volleyball World
“This renewal represents a key milestone in the development of the club movement in Italy, and in particular the SuperLega. Our shared goal is to grow globally, strengthening our ties with Italian fans and the local communities and entrepreneurs who have always supported the clubs, and promoting international expansion, in line with the technical and economic values that the SuperLega and its clubs deserve and aspire to achieve. We are undoubtedly the most technically spectacular championship in the world, with untapped potential in terms of audience and commercial growth. At a time when volleyball is experiencing unprecedented growth in key global markets, it was essential to join forces to bring this product to an ever-wider audience. I would like to thank Lega President Massimo Righi, all his collaborators, and especially the Club Presidents for their trust in this partnership and for our shared desire to grow and expand this extraordinary product, making it increasingly accessible and enjoyable worldwide.”
