In the opening match of Sunday’s marathon of the fourth round of the Regular Season, Sonepar Padova took center stage at home, inflicting a 3-1 victory on Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina, who struggled with an inspired Golzadeh (23 points), but remained last with one point and still searching for their first victory. The performances of Orioli (21 points), Masulovic (15) and Gardini (12) were decisive in the game’s economy. Victory at the PalaPanini for European champion Sir Susa Scai Perugia, who managed to conquer the lair of a combative, but rather foul-prone, Valsa Group Modena in four sets.
