After Sir Susa Scai Perugia’s 3-1 comeback win at home against Vero Volley Monza on Saturday, the lineup for Game 1 of the Credem Banca Scudetto Playoff Quarterfinals is complete with Sunday’s matches. While awaiting the result between Valsa Group Modena and Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza, which kicks off at 8:30 pm on the PalaPanini taraflex, the results of the other two matches are already known.

The Marche region made a strong showing in the remake of the 2024/25 Scudetto Final, with Cucine Lube Civitanova exorcising the BTS Arena by defeating Itas Trentino in four sets, with the first three sets being played point-by-point. Alex Nikolov, MVP and top scorer, scored 26 points, supported by an excellent Bottolo, who scored 16 goals and was also on point at blocking, Loeppky (14) and Gargiulo (10). Only Faure (15) scored in double figures for Trentino. The visitors put in a good performance on offense and blocking defense. The Dolomites deserved credit for reopening the match in the photo finish of the third act, but collapsed in the second. Game 2 is scheduled for Sunday, March 15th at the Eurosuole Forum (6:00 PM).

A comfortable home win for Rana Verona in their quarterfinal debut against Allianz Milano. The captain of Verona, Mozic, took center stage, scoring 14 points on 61% attack and 3 aces. Keita (18 goals) and Darlan (16) also stood out. It was a night to forget for the Milanese, with no players in double figures and Caneschi leading the team with seven points. Only the final minutes were even, but the Veneto team finished with no problems. The match will be repeated on Sunday, March 15th, at 7:00 PM at the Allianz Cloud. Verona will look to extend their lead, while Milan will have to capitalize on home advantage to equalize.
