Domotek Volley Reggio Calabria announces with emotion, satisfaction, and gratitude the confirmation of setter Davide Saitta for the 2025-26 Serie A2 season. This confirmation is much more than a simple renewal: it is a heartfelt choice, the confirmation of a bond born last year and nurtured through historic victories and dream sets.
The Catania-born setter, born in 1987, enjoyed an exhilarating season in Reggio Calabria. With his “magic hands,” a cutting-edge computer brain, he enabled Coach Polimeni’s club to lift two historic trophies—the Coppa Italia Del Monte and the Supercoppa—and secure promotion to Serie A2 after a thrilling playoff series against Belluno.
A resume that speaks for itself and has demonstrated the Amaranto player’s volleyball prowess: starting in 2002 with Milvus Catania, Saitta then moved to the SuperLega with Latina, later playing for prestigious clubs such as Treviso, Perugia, Padova, Vibo Valentia, and Cisterna. He also gained experience abroad, including in France (Paris Volley), where he won the French title, and Poland (GKS Katowice). With the Italian national team, he won silver at the 2013 European Championship, confirming himself as one of the most solid and admired setters in the Italian volleyball scene. Domotek Volley welcomes him back, ready to continue dreaming with their masterful playmaker.
