Trentino hands the key to the team to Angelo Lorenzetti. The 52-year-old head coach signed a two-year deal. Lorenzetti could not have better credentials. In the past couple of years, nobody won as much as he did in Italy. He won four titles: the league title, two Italian cups and one Italian Super Cup. The new season, which will begin in the Super Cup semi-final, will be his 15th in the elite of Italian volleyball. He previously coached Padova, Modena, Verona and Piacenza. He often took on Trento in epic battles like the league finals 2008 and 2009 with Piacenza and the two other ones with Modena. Lorenzetti is the seventh coach in Trentino’s history, the fifth Italian after Bruno Bagnoli, Silvano Prandi, Andrea Burattini and Roberto Serniotti.
