Just before the deadline, Reggio Emilia made one last move… And what a move. The club brought back Antonio Paola seven years on. Born in 1988 in Gaeta, 192cm tall, the spiker played last season for Vibo Valentia in the Serie A2.
“I have been training hard for five months – said De Paola – I am on my way back and I can’t wait to get back on court. I am delighted to come back to Reggio, which really launched my career seven years ago. I really needed an opportunity like this one and feel the faith of a club, especially after my injury. I was abandoned by Vibo, I was not treated well at all so I want to thank sport director Barbareschi who really wanted me in the team. I knew people liked me in Reggio but not that much”.
