Ravenna brought in outside hitter Maurice Torres, who was last seen in Puerto Rico with Ponce. Born in 1991, he already played in Italy, first at Latina in the first months of the 2013-14 season and at Molfetta at the end of last season. In Molfetta, he scored 300 points (25 aces, 27 blocks) in 16 appearances.
“I wanted to stay in Italy – said Torres – There was no doubt in my mind when I received the offer of such a top club with a great history. My goal will be to keep improving and help Ravenna get back into Europe”.
