“Barra Schiano” Memorial won by Rome

Framasil Cucine Pineto: The “Maurizio Barra Schiano” memorial has been a great volleyball night. Roma Volley and Framasil Cucine played in front of more than 600 people. Great players like Tofoli, Gatin, Giretto and Hernandez showed what the can do.
Good match for Gatin, still not too well in the passing, but great in the serves and in attacks.
Rome started very well but Pineto fought back. The Pineto starting six was: Ronaldo setter, Bergamo opposite, Baldasseroni and Zago spikers, Russo and Sborgia middleblockers. The set goes ahead point to point but at the end Rome closes it for 29-27.
In the second set Rome started with: Tofoli setter, Hernandez opposite, Molteni and Romero spikers and Kooistra & Giretto middleblockers. Rome seemed unstoppable and wins the set 25-20.
In the third set big reaction of Pineto that wins the set 25-19 and the fourth 25-20. In the tiebreak no story. Rome close the set 15-8 especially thanks to a great Hernandez.
Next match for Pineto next Saturday at the Pala Mercatone Uno against Sparkling Milano.
