SERIE A TIM 2008/09 CHAMPIONSHIPS ADMISSION RULES: MAIN NEWS
The Volleyball League’s directors have issued the new rules for the Serie A TIM 2008/09 championships admission.
All the new rules are aiming at a better and more rigorous control over the financial structures of the Clubs.
After having done that for the Serie A1 TIM, from next season the Serie A2 TIM will have to set up a board of statutory auditors. With the introduction of this body, the accounts will be certified according to the law.
Also, the bond bail amounts the clubs will have to present when enrolling for the championship have been rounded up. For the Serie A1 TIM the guarantee has gone to 200.000 euros; for the Serie A2 TIM the amount will be 100.000 euros.
For the new comers and for the clubs that acquired the sport title, the amounts will be doubled.
The clubs, in order to be issued, will have to deposit the 70% of the wages destined for the athelets by the 31st of may, who will be able to deposit an instance at the Volleyball League’s offices in case of missing payments of the above percentages.
