The 2009-10 Champions League will officially begin on the 26th of June with the draw in Vienna. The 24 teams taking part will try to take Trentino’s title, conquered last April in Prague. The other Italians involved are the recently crowned champion Piacenza and Macerata. The Cev handed out three wild card to PVC Cska Sofia (BUL), Jastrzebski Wegiel S.A. (POL) and ACH Volley Bled (SLO).
