In a year of deep rebuilding, Taranto has a look in its recent past too in order to build the future team. In its eagerness to make its youth policy work, it decided to give another chance to setter Davide Quartarone in the A1. Indeed, Davide’s loan from Montichiari has been extended to the 2009-10 season.
“Last season, I got on very well with the chairman, GM and the rest of the staff – said Quartarone – I know very little of new coach Montagnani but I’ve been told he is excellent”.
