Trento e Macerata through. Piacenza makes it in the CEV Cup
The Champions League Main phase is over. Trento and Macerata finished top of their respective groups and are through to the knock-out stage. The draw was done in Luxemburg and the team to host the Final Four, and automatically qualified for it, has been selected: it will be Skra Belchatow. The Final Four will therefore take place in Lodz, Poland, on the 10th and 11th of April.
Piacenza bounced back after four consecutive losses in the Champions League and earned a place in the Cev Cup thanks to its win over Friedrichshafen. Piacenza will meet the winners of the quarter finals between Izmir (Turkey) and Zaksa Kedzierzyn-Kozle (Poland) in what is called the Challenge round (between 23 and 25 February).
